To be honest I have been struggling with masking and figuring out how to make images not being blocky, as well as determining how to mask out certain parts while leaving others as is. That part is the most frustrating.
I think I have solidified my concept, on the other side, since Marylin's image was flipped to be a sex symbol, I want to demonstrate that violation of image. I made a selection with her arm and I thought of it as the one arm being Hollywood, and the other being Marylin's. I see it as battling with fame and how controlling the public eye is to her image. She has been reduced to nothing but an object. Vibrant colors also seem fitting because they are loud and violating in a way.
